For accounting firms that handle many clients

Invoices in, data out. You just review.

Dokira reads supplier invoices, receipts and bank statements, checks totals, SST, TIN and duplicates, then prepares import files for AutoCount and SQL Account. Nothing reaches your ledger until your staff approve it.

The problem

From a pile of documents to data you can trust

Accounting work in Malaysia still relies heavily on typing. Dokira turns that work into reviewing.

Today

  • Invoices typed one by one into AutoCount or SQL Account.
  • Receipts arrive by WhatsApp, email and scanner, all over the place.
  • Wrong totals, mistyped TINs, the same invoice paid twice.
  • Bank statements that do not balance and are hard to trace.

With Dokira

  • AI reads the documents and flags the fields it is unsure of. Your staff review instead of typing.
  • Every document lands in one inbox, sorted by client.
  • Rules check totals, SST, TIN and duplicates, and detect the MyInvois QR code, before you approve.
  • Bank statement balances are proven and gaps are shown.
Why Dokira

Data checked before it reaches the ledger

Reading invoices with AI is now part of many tools. For a firm, what matters more is what happens before the data is imported.

Checked against Malaysian rules

Line totals, SST by document date, TIN and SSM format, duplicates and changed supplier bank accounts are checked first. Errors block approval.

All clients, AutoCount and SQL Account

One inbox per client. Import files are prepared for AutoCount or SQL Account per client, with Excel and CSV as other options.

Approvals with an audit trail

High-value documents can need a second approval. Every change is recorded with the user and the time, so partners know who approved what.

How it works

Five steps, from file to export

AI reads, rules check, people approve. Nothing reaches your accounting system without your approval.

Illustration: a pile of documents flowing into a laptop that shows a reviewed list
  1. Capture

Drag in files, watch a folder or scan with a scanner on Windows. On a phone, take a photo or share from WhatsApp.

  2. Read

AI extracts the supplier, invoice number, date, line items, SST and totals, with a confidence score for each field.

  3. Check

Rules check totals, SST, TIN and SSM format, duplicates and unusual patterns, and detect the MyInvois QR code.

  4. Approve

Your staff approve the document. High-value documents can need a second approval, depending on the plan.

  5. Export

Generate import files for AutoCount or SQL Account, Excel or CSV, with a PDF archive.

Phone apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are coming to the App Store and Google Play.

Integrations

e-Invoice (LHDN MyInvois)

Dokira detects the MyInvois QR code on supplier invoices and stores the e-Invoice UUID with the approved document.

Dokira does not issue or submit e-Invoices to LHDN. LHDN rules change, so check the current LHDN guidance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What counts as one document?
Each invoice, receipt or credit note that is processed counts as one document, even with several pages. Each page of a bank statement counts as one document. Documents the AI finds blurry, and duplicates found after extraction, are not counted.
Does Dokira replace AutoCount or SQL Account?
No. Dokira is the checking step before import. Documents are approved in Dokira, then you import the file into the accounting system you already use.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Fields the AI is unsure of are flagged, rules check totals and formats, and errors block approval. Nothing is exported before it is approved. We will not publish accuracy figures until there is real data after launch.
Is client data sent outside Malaysia?
Yes, partly. Document files are stored in Cloudflare R2, and documents are read by Anthropic's AI in the United States. Every transfer and its recipient is listed in the privacy notice.
When can we use Dokira?
Sign-up is not open yet. Register your interest and we will let you know when it opens.
How do I get support?
By email at [email protected]. We reply within 1 working day (Sunday to Thursday).
